Hilltop United Methodist Church is proud to have a Mothers’ Morning Out Ministry that provides an outreach to both members and non members of our church. It is the goal of MMOM to support parents as they face the challenges of caring for young children while still maintaining care for themselves and their other family members. The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for children 6 months to 3 years old to develop social skills in a friendly, creative, and nurturing classroom setting with Christian values.
Our MMOM is intended to be a reflection of the love that God has for all of His children. While you do not need to be a member of Hilltop United Methodist Church to use MMO, we want to invite you and your entire family to join us in worship and in the numerous activities our church has to offer. Parents can choose up to 2 classes per week and have a variety of options to choose from Monday through Friday. Each class consists of two teachers and never more than 12 children per class (less for younger ages). Classes are from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm. The children enjoy free play, craft time, story time, circle time where they sing songs and dance, snack time, and finally recess. We follow an age appropriate curriculum developed by a former NAEYC accredited Preschool Director, Tina Hunter, so the children are experiencing a playful class setting that helps them develop skills for a successful experience in preschool. We are pleased to have an NAEYC accredited preschool and elementary program in the same building as MMO.
