There are many opportunities for study, prayer, and service for adults at Hilltop. New classes and groups are forming regularly. If you have an interest you'd like to share, or would like to facilitate a class, please contact Pastor Dennis or the office.

The Explorers Class

The Explorer's Class is an adult class for those who wish to dig deeper into the history of the Bible.

 The Wesley Class:

This is an adult class that explores some of the mysteries of faith.

Small Groups

Monday School-This class will give the serious worshiper a deeper knowledge of the biblical and historical context of the Bible - Mondays 7:00-8:30 pm in the Upper Room

Women's Bible Study -  Various DVD-guided studies directed at women are the focus of this class - Wednesdays at 9:30 am in the Wesley Room

Diggin' the Bible class watches educational DVDs from the Biblical Archaeology Society, PBS, Nova, etc. presented by Biblical Scholars and Archaeologists from Colleges and Universities around the world. We have covered topics ranging from the Dead Sea Scrolls, Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus, Honor and Shame, The Evil Eye, Text Detectives, Who Really Wrote the Bible, How Archaeology Illuminates the Bible, just to name a few. There are no books to purchase or studying to do, this is a way to learn and discuss the topic presented that day. Wednesdays at 12:00 noon in the Wesley Room Led by Claudia Bilbao

Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group that knits and/or crochets shawls for those in the congregation and the community who are experiencing difficult times. 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 1:00 pm in the Ada Room

Orientation Classes are for those who are interested in membership or just more information on the United Methodist Church and opportunities at Hilltop. Classes meet during the Sunday School hour at 9:00 am in the Ada Room.
